SUMMARY:Historic Homesteading Day -Autumn Festival-
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the grounds of the Sampson /Clark Homestead for a da
 y of local heritage and homesteading experiences. There will be demonstrat
 ions and educational presentations with hands-on activities for young and 
 old alike. Spinning\, bee keeping\, apothecary\, quill writing\, corn grin
 ding\, and other historical presenters will be on the grounds.\n\nWe invit
 e the community to visit the site and tour the old Northern Pike Tollhouse
  and the reconstructed Clark Schoolhouse. Parking is on Triangle Lane\, R
 oute 22\, shuttle cart will be available\n\n11:30am - History of Bagpipes\
 n\n1:30 - History of Turtle Creek\n\nPetting Zoo 11am - 2pm\n\nThe event t
 akes place in September 13th\, from 11 am to 4 pm.
